Please plan accordingly: The Quincy Public Library will begin a renovation and construction project in August 2010. During the first phase of the project, which is expected to be completed in April of 2011, materials and services will be compressed into a much smaller space. For local history and genealogy researchers this means that local materials will be available in a “mini Illinois Room,” but materials that can be found in other libraries will be put into storage.
