On a high hill behind the home of Lew and Mary Cummings in the SW Section 17 Chambersburg Township (present day land owned by Trustees of Illinois College) is the Chambersburg-Brown Cemetery. It is about a mile south of the town Chambersburg and a short distance west of the Valley City Black Top (highway 21). A crushed rockroad runs through it. Old and new stones intermingle all over the 4 or 5 acre plot.

My name is John E. Glasgow and I am researching my family tree who lived in Chambersburg, Illinois in 1800. I noticed that the names "Glasgow" and "Loer" appear in the list for the "Chambersburg - Brown Cemetery".

Is there a way I can get full info regarding these names, especially first names and born and death dates? Thank you.
